Function

Spindle extension for underground valve operation, available in a variety of adjustable standard lengths. Applicable to tapping valves as well as gate valves between DN 40 and DN 450.

Components

Rod
• square structural steel rod, hot-rolled
• square structural steel pipe, cold-drawn, longitudinally welded
• Coupling socket GTW 40
• Operating element GTW 40
• Stainless steel grub screw and adjustment sleeve
• Protective sheet metal of structural steel
• Stainless steel bolt

Protective tubing
• PE tubing
• PE centring cap
• PE bell tube

Production

Two-piece rod, transport and function secured, with welded on protective sheet metal, entirely hot dip galvanised. PE tubing force-fitted with cap and bell tube.

The special design of the adjustment sleeve allows for save transport and adaption of rod length to the required cover depth.
