Fixed spindle extensions:
Our product range EBG-fixed represents the classic method of operating underground valves in pipe systems. It is the most basic of constructions and thus the cheapest way to extend valve spindles over the required cover depth up to street level. EBG-fixed rods are protected against corrosion by a complete coat of varnish. Protective one-piece tubing with guide cap and bell tube enable unobstructed rotatability.
A variety of models for rods and protective tubing are available to fit required lengths and valve design. EBG spindle extensions are constructed from high quality and environmentally friendly material, that ensure longevity.
Adjustable spindle extensions:
Our product range EBG-adjustable is generally used the same way as the fixed spindle extension. However, during assembly on the valve, this spindle extension can be adjusted to the appropriate height. After adjustment the spindle extension has the same function and characteristics as a fixed one. EBG-adjustable rods are protected against corrosion by hot dip galvanisation. The adjustment sleeve is made of stainless steel. A piece of sheet metal avoids complete extraction of the square rod. Protective two-piece tubing with centring cap and bell tube enable unobstructed rotatability.
More complex construction and better corrosion protection may avoid the necessity of mechanical shortening of the spindle extension to the required cover depth. Adjustable spindle extensions are therefore more flexible than their fixed counterparts and save valuable time at the construction site.
