Optidur SMO - safe and user-friendly wall ducts
With the SMO wall duct, KETTLER offers a reliable solution for the safe introduction of media pipes in buildings. Made of impact-resistant plastic, high-quality seals and robust components, it meets the highest requirements in terms of safety, stability and ease of installation.
The SMO is suitable for both buildings with and without basements, as its special geometry ensures high pull-out resistance and torsion resistance. Integrated installation aids make it easy to fix in place before the annular space is sealed with pourable or applicable fillers.
For even more convenience, the SMO can be extended with centering discs to create a complete installation system. A centering eccentric enables precise pre-fixing in the wall, while integrated filling aids ensure that the filler is inserted cleanly and safely.
The Optidur SMO is available in two sizes:
- SMO 1 for media pipes from 20-40 mm
- SMO 2 for service pipes from 40-63 mm

Function
The Optidur SMO casing pipe wall penetration ensures the reliable sealing of supply and disposal pipes with an outer diameter of 20 to 63 mm. It is used in core drill holes and wall openings and ensures a safe, clean and durable penetration.

Manufacture
The casing pipe is manufactured using the injection molding process and supplied with pre-assembled seals and screw fittings. The practical installation aid is included in the set and is ready for immediate use.

SMO-flex
Function
The flexible casing pipe wall duct enables the reliable sealing of supply and disposal pipes with an outer diameter of 20 to 63 mm. It is specially designed for use in buildings without basements and adapts individually to the installation situation thanks to its flexible design.

- Adhesive-coated heat-shrink tubing made of PE
Manufacture
The injection-molded casing pipe ends are supplied with pre-assembled seals and fittings and connected via a PVC spiral hose. The hose is securely fastened and reliably sealed using adhesive-coated shrink tubing. The feed-through can also be produced on both sides.
