This declaration applies to the website kettlerweb.de of KETTLER GmbH.

We want to make our services accessible to as many people as possible
and are guided by WCAG 2.1, Level AA and BITV 2.0.

Status of compatibility

The website is partially accessible. The majority of the WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria are met. We are continuously working on further improvements.

Measures implemented

• WordPress + OneTap (plugin):
  • component can be operated entirely by keyboard (Tab/Shift+Tab, Enter/Space).
  • Focus management is implemented; the visible focus is recognizable.
• Semantics & ARIA:
  • Form elements have programmatic labels, error messages are linked to fields.
• Responsive design and scaling up to at least 200 % without loss of functionality.

Not (yet) fully accessible content

1. PDF documents/downloads: Some older PDFs or PDFs supplied by third parties are not barrier-free (missing tags/alternative texts/reading order).
2. Subtitles/audio description: Some of the older videos lack subtitles or audio description.
3. Contrasts of individual components: Individual elements cannot meet the contrast requirements everywhere.
4. Alternative texts for decorative/product-related images: Partly still incomplete.

Planned improvements (ongoing):

• Post-processing/replacement of non-accessible PDFs.
• Subtitling of new videos (and gradual retrofitting).
• Contrast checks in the design system; addition of missing alternative texts.
